Archival Packaging of stamps and wax seal stamps in the Unity Archives

What is to be done?

In 2026, the Unity Archives is planning to repackage its collection of stamps and wax seal stamps in accordance with archival standards. This will require a specific number of cardboard boxes and inlays to divide the boxes. The collection of stamps and wax seal stamps, all related to the Moravian Church, currently comprises 205 catalogued stamps and wax seal stamps with more still to be cataloged. These include stamps and wax seal stamps from the Provincial Board, bishops, courts, individuals and various institutions of the Moravian Church.

Why do we need your donation?

For the purchase of the boxes and the appropriate inlays, at least €500 is needed. We would be most delighted if you could support this project with your donation. If more money is raised, this will be used for further preservation projects at the Unity Archives.
